Dit is een portret waar ik momenteel aan werk. Eerst heb ik een lijntekening gemaakt, een soort ruwe schets met aquarelverf en daarover heen de onderste laag met olieverf. Daar is deze laag overheen gegaan. Na het weekend komt de volgende laag aan de beurt waarin ik wat meer detail in probeer te schilderen. Ik probeer nu de met waterverdunbare Cobra olieverf van Royal Talens uit omdat ik in de woonkamer schilder en dit niet zo sterk ruikt. Dus het is een beetje een experiment en ik leer veel terwijl ik aan het schilderen ben en dat vind ik nou zo leuk, het is een beetje verslavend! Volgende week post ik een update van de volgende laag.

Uiteindelijk ben ik 'ouderwets' met acrylverf op papier gaan schilderen. Past beter bij de sfeer van het onderwerp omdat de textuur wat ruwer en minder gladjes eruit ziet dan de Photoshop versie. Eigenlijk had ik gewoon zin om weer eens te gaan schilderen.
